Advantage Travel announces Big Celebration Lunch

The Advantage Travel Partnership just announced details of this year’s annual Big Celebration Lunch.

It will take place on Friday 6 December at 8 Northumberland Avenue in central London.

Advantage members will be invited by sponsors to be their guests for the afternoon, with around 300 guests expected to gather at the event.

It features a three-course lunch, drinks and entertainment.

Awards will be presented during the lunch to mark outstanding achievements over the past 12 months.

Julia Lo Bue-Said, CEO, The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “Our Big Celebration Lunch gets bigger and better every year.”

“Last year our collaboration with the Salvation Army was so successful that we will once again be using the event to further demonstrate travel as a force for good.”

Last year more than 500 gifts were donated to The Salvation Army by guests in support of the charity’s Christmas appeal.

This year, the Partnership has chosen to support the Croydon-based charity, Children’s Hospital Pyjamas, who collect donations of brand-new pyjamas for hospitals, hospices and women’s refuges up and down the country.

Charmaine Green, Founder, Children’s Hospital Pyjamas, said: “We are over the moon that Advantage has chosen to partner with us for what will be our first-ever corporate event.”

Lo Bue-Said added: “As last year we will be asking all those joining us for the event to bring with them a pair of pyjamas to donate to this wonderful charity. Attendees last year supported the initiative whole-heartedly and we know they will do so again this year.”

The Award categories have now launched, with the closing date for submissions confirmed as 27 September 2024.
