Advantage wins innovation award
The CAT35 initiative by Advantage Business Travel Management has won it the Business Travel Show Innovation Award for 2007.
The technology allows airlines to upload their net discounted fares displaying all terms and conditions on the global distribution system.
It saves Advantage member agents time and money and makes the whole booking process more efficient because previously agents had to reply on third parties or search for those specific fares.
The award was also given to Advantage because of its recent deal with Amadeus under which the independent agency network has pioneered the use of Amadeus’ e-booking tool.
