Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas is to undergo a $61 million facelift, including the installation of dual ‘racer’ waterslides, a surf simulator, and a children’s water park.
New dining and entertainment venues will include the Izumi Japanese restaurant, the brand’s signature steakhouse Chops Grille, and Boleros Latin Louge.
The ship will also have more than 100 new staterooms, a refresh of all existing staterooms and a new Suites Lounge.
Adventure is Royal Caribbean’s fifth ship to be revamped and, at $61 million, this will be the brand’s largest investment to date.
"We’re thrilled to debut an array of new enhancements to one of our guest’s most beloved ships," said Michael Bayley, CEO, Royal Caribbean International.
