Air Asia X to unveil UK route plans

The boss of fledgeling Far East low fares carrier Air Asia X was due to unveil plans to serve the UK.
The airline’s CEO Azran Osman-Rani was in Manchester on Thursday to host a press briefing.
Details of the Malaysia-based airline’s plans for destinations in Europe, China, India and the Middle east were to be disclosed.
Information on the airlne’s in-flight service and connections via its hub in Kuala Lumpur was also expected to be released.
