Air Astana restarts Maldives flights
Air Astana will resume direct flights from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Male, Maldives on 9 October 2021.
The Kazakh full-service carrier will fly Airbus A321LR and Boeing 767 aircraft on the route four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Air Astana previously operated flights to the Maldives from 5 December 2020 until 24th May 2021, before suspending the service due to government restrictions.
Economy class return airfares start at US$680 and from US$2,070 in Business class, including airport fees and other charges.
Tickets are available on Air Astana website, sales offices and IATA travel agencies.
All passengers, including those who have been fully vaccinated, require a negative PCR test certificate in English to enter the Republic of Maldives.
Additionally, passengers need to complete a Traveller Health Declaration 24 hours prior to departure.
Visas are issued free of charge upon arrival at Male Airport.
For the return to Kazakhstan, all passengers must have a negative PCR certificate, if not fully vaccinated.
