AirAsia MOVE has strengthened its position as one of Asia’s leading travel booking platforms by adding four new direct airline partners during the second quarter of 2026, expanding connectivity across the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and China.
The latest additions—Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir and Hainan Airlines—broaden the platform’s flight inventory while providing travelers with greater access to emerging destinations and new international travel corridors.
The expansion underscores growing confidence among global airlines in AirAsia MOVE as a key distribution partner, as the company continues to build its portfolio of both full-service and low-cost carriers.
Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE, said demand for greater travel choice continues to reshape the regional market.
“Travel across ASEAN is evolving rapidly, with travelers demanding greater choice and seamless control on a single platform,” she said. “As a flights-first online travel agency, expanding our airline network remains central to our strategy. Securing partnerships with carriers such as Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir and Hainan Airlines—particularly during a period of ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty—demonstrates the strength of the MOVE ecosystem and the regional reach we provide our airline partners.“
Each partnership brings new opportunities for travelers.
Oman Air enhances premium connectivity to the Sultanate of Oman while offering onward access through its international network.
Uzbekistan Airways opens additional routes through Tashkent, giving travelers easier access to Central Asia as interest in Silk Road destinations continues to grow.
FitsAir strengthens affordable connections between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo, with onward services to Lahore, Dubai, Dhaka and Chennai.
Meanwhile, Hainan Airlines significantly expands access throughout China, offering connections via major hubs including Haikou, Beijing, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Xi’an, as well as international flights across Asia, Europe and North America.
The new agreements bring the number of airlines with direct partnerships on the MOVE platform to 79. In addition, AirAsia MOVE provides access to approximately 700 more carriers through its authorized distribution partners, giving travelers one of the region’s most comprehensive flight selections.
Beyond air travel, the platform also offers bookings for more than one million hotels worldwide, airport transfers, attractions, travel insurance and online duty-free shopping.
