AirAsia plans to launch air taxi service next year
AirAsia Group has unveiled plans to launch a flying-taxi business next year. It is looking at operating a quadcopter aerial vehicle with space for four passengers. It ‘is about a year and a half away from launching’ AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes said.
Fernandes also revealed the company is working with state agency Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre to develop an urban drone delivery service.
