AirAsia X expanding Hawaii service to daily
Citing strong demand, AirAsia X is planning to increase frequencies on its Hawaii service from four to seven flights a week.
The added departures will begin on Aug 16, 2018 and AirAsia marks it with a fare promotion starting at RM700 ($175) for one way flights.
The route connects its Kuala Lumpur hub with Honolulu via Osaka, Japan.
It offers AirAsia’s Fly-Thru service with easier connections, transit of baggage and through ticketing.
"Our maiden entry to Honolulu last year with amazing low fares has stimulated demand and generated tremendous interest from the Southeast Asia region. In less than a year, the market has grown exponentially and we are pleased to offer daily departing flights," said AirAsia X group head of commercial, Barry Klipp in a statement.
