Airline allows customers to choose its next destination
Eurowings is claiming to be the first airline to allow customers to choose the next destination on its expanding network.
The German airline has given passengers the choice of 10 potential new destinations and they can vote for their favourite on vote-and-fly.com.
A shortlist of three will be drawn up and there will be a live vote on Facebook for the winning destination later this month.
Eurowings currently flies to more than 160 destinations in almost 50 countries.
Belfast and Shannon are included in the shortlist of destinations in the ‘You vote, we fly’ campaign. The others are Biarritz, Brac, Bergen, Castellon, Mostar, Podgorica, Trieste and Trapani.
CEO Oliver Wagner said: "Our customers are going to decide where we should fly to – no other airline has ever done this.
"You vote,we fly’ shows yet again how close we are to our customers."
The airline is also offering a prize draw for 50 flights for two people to the winning destination.
