Airlines issue travel waivers for New Orleans
Airlines have offered travel waivers for travelers who were heading to and from New Orleans for the now canceled Sugar Bowl game.
The game was canceled following the terror attack in the French Quarter which has left at least 15 people dead and dozens injured.
A man from Texas ploughed through a crowd of people in a vehicle and then opened fire.
United Airlines customers with booked travel from New Orleans for travel by January 3 can change their flights for free.
Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines are also offering travel waivers up to January 3.
The Sugar Bowl playoff game has been pushed back until Thursday which left traveling fans scrambling to change hotel reservations
Hilton Hotels has announced it will waive penalties for changes and cancelations, while IHG has urged guests to hotel directly for further options.
