‘Aladdin’ resumes Broadway performances after Covid-19 shutdown
Disney’s Aladdin Broadway production has restarted after positive Covid cases. Wednesday’s performance was cancelled only a day after it resumed following the long shutdown.
Production bosses said no new cases were detected after two rounds of testing. Each performer undergoes multiple Covid-19 tests each week.
Broadway theaters began reopening in September and all theatergoers must be fully vaccinated.
