All passengers killed in Hawaii plane crash

All 11 people onboard a skydiving flight which crashed in Hawaii have been confirmed dead.

The twin-engined aircraft reportedly flipped over at least once before hitting the ground and bursting into flames close to where it took off at Dillingham Airfield near Oahuu’s north shore.

It is the worst civil aviation accident in the US since 2011.

"It’s very difficult. In my 40 years as a firefighter here in Hawaii, this is the most tragic aircraft incident we’ve had," fire chief Manuel Neves said.

Air crash investigators have visited the scene to assess the wreckage, which witnesses say no longer resembles an aircraft due to the ‘insane fire’ on impact.

The plane was operated by the Oahu Parachute Center skydiving company which offers tandem jumps costing from $170 to $250.
