Amadeus creates new role for Spagnou
Amadeus has appointed Frédéric Spagnou as vice president of marketing.
The newly created role will see Mr Spagnou responsible for the company’s global marketing, communication, quality and customer support functions. He comes from Gemplus International, which provides smart card solutions, where he was chief operating officer.
Amadeus executive vice president, David Jones, said: “Frédéric has substantial senior management experience gained in global technology businesses”.
Mr Spagnou added: “The company is expanding beyond its origins in travel distribution to become a major force in airline and leisure IT services. In addition to my responsibility for global marketing direction, I intend to further strengthen the company’s reputation for quality and customer service”.
