Luxury resort operator Aman has appointed Elliott Miller as the company’s first director of sales for Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to Christina Deeny, global head of sales, Miller will oversee all sales activities for Aman in the region,
He will focus on the collection’s existing properties including Amangalla and Amanwella in Sri Lanka, Amandari, Amankila, Amanusa in Bali, Amanpuri in Phuket and Amandayan, Amanfayun and Aman Summer Palace in China.
He will also represent the latest Aman addition, Amanera in the Dominican Republic, which opened last November 2015, and the upcoming March 2016 launch of Amanemu, an onsen resort in Shima National Park.
Prior to joining Aman, Miller was regional director of sales for Australia and South Asia for COMO Hotels & Resorts where he managed all market segments including wholesale, travel agencies, MICE and corporate accounts.
He also held sales management roles at InterContinental Hotels Group and Hunter Valley Gardens in Sydney, Australia.
