Ambassador Cruise Line will offer cruises out of Portsmouth for the first time.
The cruise line’s Ambition ship will depart on three cruise itineraries from Portsmouth Port this April.
The cruises start on 6 April with a ‘Escape to Belgium, France and Holland’ itinerary.
It follows with a 10-night ‘Springtime Sunshine in Portugal and Spain’ cruise and then a short ‘Irish Mini-Break’ sailing in late April.
“Launching our first season of sailings from Portsmouth is a significant moment for Ambassador and an important step in expanding our regional departure programme,” said Christian Verhounig, Ambassador CEO.
“Our guests value the simplicity and convenience of no-fly cruising and the launch of Portsmouth as a new departure port provides the ideal gateway.”
Andrew Williamson, head of cruise and ferry at Portsmouth Port, added: “We are delighted to welcome Ambassador Cruise Line for its inaugural no-fly season.”
“Having previously welcomed Ambition and Ambience on calling cruises, we have built up a strong relationship with their team.”
