America West says it has added an innovative way to book rental cars from the convenience of its own Web site.
Customers who have already been able to use www.americawest.com to complement their airline reservations with discounted hotel rates can now view side-by-side comparisons of Avis and Budget car rental sites.
They can also determine what offerings fit the custom-made requirements of their visits, finding out such information as pickup times, locations and vehicle preferences.
Dion Flannery, vice president, planning and distribution, said:
“The addition of a rental car booking engine is just the latest in a number of upgrades we’ve made to make americawest.com a true ‘one-stop’ travel shopping outlet.”
America West Airlines is the nation’s second largest low-cost airline, according to the airline.
