American will add an extra direct service between London Heathrow Airport and Los Angeles International Airport in March 2015.
The new flight will be operated with the latest addition to American’s international fleet, the three-class Boeing 777-300ER.
It means American and its business partner British Airways will operate four flights a day between the two cities, year round.
The new non-stop service begins on March 29 and goes on sale on Sunday (November 2).
