American Airlines postpones in-flight alcohol sales
American Airlines has joined Southwest Airlines in postponing a return of alcohol sales on board flights. AA will not bring back alcohol sales until September, it said in an internal memo to workers.
It suspended alcohol sales at the start of the pandemic. It was due to be reintroduced from today. Southwest Airlines reversed a plan to reintroduce booze onboard following a ‘serious assault’ of a flight attendant last week.
