American Airlines returns to India
American Airlines has resumed direct flights to India, marking its return to the country after a long pause of nearly a decade. The New York-Delhi may be joined by flights to and fro Mumbai if there is demand.
"There is huge potential for expansion in India. Mumbai is one place we are looking at closely," AA said. However, American’s Bengaluru-Seattle route launch has been further delayed due to a sluggish business travel recovery.
