American Airlines scrapping Covid leave for unvaccinated workers
American Airlines will end special leave from next month for unvaccinated workers required to quarantine due to Covid-19. They will have to use up sick time or medical leave if they are required to take time off.
"Given there is an FDA-approved vaccine, pandemic leave will only be offered to team members who are fully vaccinated," AA said in a memo to staff. Alaska Air Group recently introduced a similar restriction.
