American cruise guest dies on ship in Hong Kong
An American cruise guest has died aboard his ship in Hong Kong.
The unnamed 66-year old man collapsed in his stateroom while the Silver Dawn was docked at Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal.
After ship crew attended to him, paramedics arrived and took him to Hong Kong’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death
It has been reported the guest had a history of heart disease.
Police boarded the Silversea operated ship later to conduct an investigation.
The 596-guest Silver Dawn left Hong Kong on Sunday for a cruise to China and Japan.
