American Express appoints new UK commercial card head

Mimi Kung has moved within American Express to become vice president, head of commercial card, UK and Benelux.

She was previously vice president Europe, international payments and international partnerships & rewards.

Kung joined Amex in 1995 and has held a number of senior positions across finance and marketing. 

Senior vice president and head of commercial card EMEA Brendan Walsh said: “Mimi will drive our commercial card strategy throughout the UK and Benelux. 

“The UK is a key market for us and I’m confident that Mimi will further strengthen our position as the market leading provider of expense management solutions for multi-national and mid-sized companies within the region.”
