American pleads guilty to rape, murder of fellow US tourist
An American has now posted a guilty plea in answer to charges he raped and murdered a fellow US tourist in Germany.
It took place near the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle last summer.
Troy Philipp B faces one count of murder and attempted murder of the victim’s friend.
He also pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the victim and pushing both women into a ravine.
He faces life in prison.
According to prosecutors, he led the women to a secluded area.
He then attacked one and threw the other into the ravine.
He allegedly also recorded the assault.
He then also threw the unconscious victim into the ravine, who died from her injuries.
