APT floats new destinations
Two new riverships will enter service on APT’s expanded Europe river network next year.
Boutique Concerto ship MS AmaVida and the MS AmaPrima, will increase APT’s Europe river fleet next year to 12.
At the same time, a panoramic ship-front second restaurant offering dining indoors and out will be added to the six Aria ships.
APT general manager, Chris Hall said the new ships allowed APT and its Europe river cruising co-owner AmaWaterways to add cruises on the Seine in France and the Douro in Portugal.
"This new investment in more ships, enhancements of the Aria ships and the infrastructure required for the new rivers is part of a continuing business development process we started when we launched the concept in 2000," Hall said.
The MS AmaVida will sail the Douro River while the MS AmaPrima will sail between Amsterdam and Rousse.
