Arrive in Venice on the bridge of the massive Costa Fortuna

I was very fortunate recently to be on the bridge of the massive Costa Fortuna as she entered the rather comparatively tiny port of Veince .

The question remains though whether massive ships of this nature should be allowed so close to such an endagered and stunningly beautiful and historic city.
