Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association Selects Avani Cimcon Technologies

The Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA) announced that they have awarded Avani Cimcon Technologies the contract to build their next generation destination portal.

The new destination portal will provide a complete experience allowing the user to easily find, navigate and book their entire travel package with the association’s 120+ members. Air, hotel, restaurants and excursions will be among the options offered through the portal. In addition, the site will contain rich media and social networking capabilities along with Association Member tools that will allow for Customer Relationship Management and site specific destination analysis.

The benefits of the above implementation are expected to be multi-fold. The vendors would be more than happy to provide their products via this interface rather than any 3rd party Inventory systems and similar inventory and booking engines, because, of the high difference in the commission that they have to pay to these external players.

With the Marketing tool, CARMA, playing an important role in post sales, with the ability to maintain campaigns, and personalized cards to the contacts/customers, retention is expected to be at an all time high and the investment in upgrade of technology.

Products and services offered:

• DXchange – OTA(OpenTravel Alliance) compliant XML web service gatway
• CARMA – Marketing Automation Suite
• Travel CMS – Tool to develop complete Destination Portal
• Vehicle Extranet and Booking engine
• Hotel Extranet and Booking engine
• Restaurant Extranet and Booking engine
• IT consulting, study of various competitor websites, QA, Business Analysis, Designing
