Azamara Club Cruises announces WWF expert for Australia, New Zealand voyages

Boutique cruise line Azamara Club Cruises has lined up a leading World Wildlife Fund conservation expert for one of Azamara Journey’s Australia and New Zealand voyages during her maiden season.
Part of Azamara’s new fleet-wide WWF Guest Speakers Series, Dr. Sybille Klenzendorf, a senior species conservation expert with WWF will join guests on a 15-night Australia & New Zealand voyage, departing Sydney 19 February 2017.
Dr Klenzendorf, who provides leadership for the WWF Arctic Program on polar bear conservation, will present a series of insightful lectures covering climate change impacts on polar bears and other marine species, wildlife trafficking and trade and consumerism.
"We’re honoured to have Dr Klezendorf share her knowledge and experience with our guests during this unique voyage through some of the most beautiful, and precious parts of our region" said Adam Armstrong, managing director of Azamara Club Cruises in Australia and New Zealand.
"Our partnership with the WWF cements our commitment to protecting our ocean’s wildlife, and ensuring future generations can continue to be inspired," he added.
After a US$25 million refurbishment, Azamara Journey makes her Australian debut in February 2017 with all-new public spaces and redesigned suites and staterooms.
Other dedicated WWF itineraries sailing next month include the10-night West Indies Hideaway voyage onboard Azamara Quest departing Miami, and Azamara Journey’s 14-night Spice Route Voyage from Dubai.
