BA introduces World Traveller Plus promotion

Wednesday, 10 Jul, 2002 0

British Airways is offering cheaper one-way upgrades to World Traveller Plus for a limited period.

The upgrades, which cost £150, are available on flights to 11 US destinations and must be booked by end of July for travel from 1 August to 30 November 2002.

A return ticket to New York, Boston and Washington with a one-way upgrade to the premier economy cabin now starts from £399 including taxes (saving up to £74) for travel during November. A return World Traveller Plus ticket to Los Angeles and San Francisco now starts at £678, saving up to £212.

The promotion follows a set of disappointing June traffic figures from the airline, with BA warning that the “overall market outlook continues to be soft.”
