BAA preparing for Stansted sale
BAA has started to get the ball rolling over selling off Stansted Airport.
According to reports in the business press over the weekend, the airport operator has begun sounding out investment banks about a possible sale of the airport next year.
Meanwhile, it is still deciding whether to seek a judicial review of a decision by the Competition Commission to force it to sell Stansted and either either Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
According to a report from Dow Jones Newswires, it will make a decision by September 19.
