A pregnant Guadalajara woman has to be happy there was a doctor on board her Mexicana Airlines plane en route to visiting relatives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The doctor happened to be an obstetrician-gynecologist who helped her give birth to a 7-pound, 9-ounce newborn.
The 42-year-old mother and baby were both doing fine, according to the AP.
The baby was born near Chicago.
