The Royal Pool Villa of the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, Al Areen has been included in this year’s prestigious list of 101 Most Exquisite Hotel Suites & Villas by the well established and widely read luxury travel and lifestyle magazine, Elite Traveler.
The annual Pure Decadence listing highlights the 101 top hotel suites and villas worldwide and it is determined by Elite Traveler’s editors, a panel of globe-trotting celebrities and luxury travel advisors. The editors pay special attention to outstanding service and the best amenities.
Designed by Architrave Design and Planning — Banyan Tree Group’s architectural arm, to incorporate the essence of Arabia, each villa follows the recent design trend in opulent Arabian interiors dressed in rich russet gold and orange tones.
A mix of Middle Eastern artistry and contemporary design, the spacious Villas feature private outdoor temperature-controlled swimming pools, with separate heated jet-pools.
Each villa also features a lavish bathroom with an infinity bathtub, steam and shower room plus an outdoor shower. The ultimate in desert decadence, each villa priced at USD 5050, come with its own private chef and butler.
This year only three properties in the Middle East region were included in the list and the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, Al Areen is one of them. The other two hotels are in Oman and the UAE.
Banyan Tree Al Areen opened its doors in April 2007 boasting the only-all-villa, private swimming pool and jet-pool resort in the Middle East, the world’s most extensive and luxurious spa and hydrothermal garden, three international restaurants, a complete body wellness centre and the award-winning Banyan Tree Gallery.
