The Belize Tourism Board in collaboration with Delta Airlines introduced its Belize Sweepstakes.
The on-line competition is open to all registered IATAN travel agents who are permanent residents of the US.
The Sweepstakes is geared to increase awareness of Delta’s new service to Belize.
The Belize Tourism Board said it has long been committed to working with travel agents. The group provides support through educational seminars and fam trips, among other activities.
Agents and wholesalers selling Belize can be listed free at www.BookBelize.com. Agents can also sign up for a monthly newsletter.
The Belize Web page urges travelers go use agents.
“The internet can be a powerful tool for researching travel,” the page says. “But when you’re ready to buy, the internet can’t replace the expertise of a trusted travel agent.”
