Visit Benidorm Tourist Board has appointed Leire Bilbao as the new manager of the tourist board, taking over the position held by Yolanda Pickett Fernandez.
Bilbao was previously head of marketing for 11 years at Benidorm theme park, Terra Natura.
Benidorm attracts over 1.5 million visitors from the UK and saw an increase in numbers this year.
Brits account for 40% of the total visitors to this part of the Costa Blanca, but the largest market in domestic.
