Several new developments within the Best Western chain are opening their doors before the busy summer holiday season, while some of Best Western’s existing locations are sprucing themselves up.

Best Western Wine Country Motor Inn – just opened

Located in Cessnock NSW, adjacent to the Cessnock Rugby League Supporters Club, the 4 ½ star Best Western Wine Country Motor Inn offers 50 rooms, conference centre with seating for 100 banquet style, breakfast room, mini bars, keno in-room and FOXTEL. Best Western Wine Country Motor Inn is the ideal getaway and is your gateway to the Hunter Valley with over 130 wineries and cellar doors.  

Best Western Red Bridge Motor Inn– just opened

The Best Western Red Bridge Motor Inn recently opened its doors in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast (QLD). Located two kilometres north of the Big Pineapple, the 24 room, 4 star Best Western Red Bridge Motor Inn offers a warm country welcome with all modern conveniences including Connexions restaurant and bar, king spa rooms, internet, air-conditioning, room service and swimming pool all set on landscaped gardens.

Best Western Melbourne – due to open in December

Best Western Melbourne opens next month. The old RACV building in Melbourne has been renovated and turned into a hotel. This 4 star property offers 72 rooms, with a further 128 rooms to be added in the near future. Facilities to be added soon include 2 restaurants, 3 bars, 70 car spaces, gymnasium, 2 squash courts and a business centre with conference facilities. Located on the corner of Queen Street and Little Collins Street, this property will cater for Best Western clients who want a restaurant on site, a gym, guaranteed car parking or conferences/conventions facilities in Melbourne’s CBD.

Best Western City Sands – due to open in December

The City Sands development in Wollongong NSW will include 20 serviced apartments that will operate under the Best Western brand. Currently being fitted out with up market furnishings, the apartments are expected to open for business by the end of the year. Located on the southern CBD fringe, yet only 100 metres to beautiful Wollongong City Beach, other facilities of the new clubhouse development will include a 18 hole golf course, conference rooms and brand new bars, restaurant and function rooms.

Best Western Brooklands of Mornington is undergoing major renovations

Best Western Brooklands of Mornington on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsular are renovating all of their 34 rooms, including 11 spa suites. To date, 13 suites have been totally renovated. The 4 star property also provides mini bars, a guest bar where you can have a drink and a snack, nearby restaurants and is conveniently located to the beaches, shops, golf courses, wineries and the marina.

A total renovation for the Best Western Warragul Motel

This Victorian property is undergoing a total refurbishment, yet is still open for business. Ten rooms with ensuites are being totally refurbished and will be complete by December 2005 with a further 30, 4 star rooms to be completed by the end of 2006. Warragul is the centre of a rich dairy and agricultural area, recognised as the regional capital of West Gippsland as it supplies Melbourne with most of its milk.
