Bestflights announces Ninemsn, Flights and Getaway partnerships
Bestflights.com.au announced today that it had entered into a new partnership to provide a worldwide flight booking engine for the popular Ninemsn, Flights and Getaway travel websites.
The agreement also requires Bestflights, and its sister company Bestcruises, to provide travel product every week for Ninemsn’s travel club database, and its online “Hot Deals” sections.
Bestflights is a division of Transonic Travel, an S8 Limited subsidiar and has worked in partnership with Ninemsn for the past six years, but this deal is the most comprehensive between the two organisations.
Bestflights founder and Managing Director, Mr Gary Elliott, said the new flight booking engine offered a choice of more than 1,000 airlines, flying from 2,000 cities in 200 countries, adding, “Following the recent soft launch of the new booking engine via www.bestflights.com.au, and prior to formally announcing this development, we attracted a significant number of flight bookings from customers around the world”. “This was enormously encouraging.”
“In addition to the booking engine, we will now proceed to a co-branded website offering flights and a range of travel products via the Ninenmsn family of sites, which we believe will attract several million impressions during a 12 month period”.
“Through this partnership, Ninemsn and associated participating websites will be able to offer to travellers the most comprehensive listings of flights around the world.”
Mr Elliott said the agreement with Ninemsn would be fully implemented by the end of October, adding, “We believe that this partnership with Ninemsn will cement our position as a major participant in the online travel sector.” “Ninemsn and associated websites receive some 8 million visits per month and through this agreement, we will provide these site visitors with the most comprehensive flight options for travel anywhere in the world.”
