Betton will be face of new online TV show
Former ABTA director of corporate affairs Keith Betton is to front a new WebTV travel series launching on January 18.
Broadcast specialist markettiers4dc is behind the new www.Holiday07.tv website, which will screen a series of 30-minute ‘on the couch’ style interviews with expert spokespeople and relevant footage.
The first series is planned to run until the end of March and will capitalises on the key post Christmas/New Year booking period.
The creators hope to generate traffic to the site through coverage secured on 15 websites, including internet service providers Tiscali and Lycos.
The majority of the programmes will be hosted by Betton, who made more than 1,000 television appearances during his time with ABTA.
