Black Prince prepares to say goodbye to Liverpool

Details of one the farewell cruises by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ Black Prince has been issued.

The company’s first cruise ship will be retiring from service in October after more than 40 years.

One of the farewell cruises departs from Liverpool to sail around the UK.

Black Prince departs from Liverpool on September 9 on a ten-night voyage to Belfast, the Hebrides, Chatham, St Peter Port, Falmouth and Dublin, before returning to Liverpool on September 19. 

The Merseybeats, one of the top groups of the sixties when Black Prince first set sail, will be providing entertainment on board.

Prices start at £1,045 per person based on two sharing a twin cabin, including all meals and entertainment on board and port taxes.
