Boeing has pushed back deliveries of its new 787 Dreamliner until July at the earliest.
The company had most recently said that deliveries would begin next month, nearly three years late, but an electrical fire on a plane in November halted flight-testing
Boeing said it expects to deliver the plane during the third quarter, this year which would be between July and the end of September.
Boeing said the new time line would allow it to produce, install and test updated software and new electrical power distribution panels in the flight test and production aircraft.
The company said it would provide more information on its financial forecast and deliveries during its earnings conference call on January 26.
