Sabre Airline Solutions launched the newest release of its LiteVision GDS system which it says can help improve the airline’s bottom line. The Sabre LiteVision’s personalized marketing information data tapes (MIDT) system has been expanded to include Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan MIDT bookings. This will build on the information already available through bookings from the Sabre Passenger Reservation System and ABACUS MIDT bookings, according to Sabre. In addition, the number of markets available for analysis has been increased from 25 top markets to 50 selective or top markets. The company says that will enable small to medium-sized airlines accessibility to additional MIDT data to support market decisions. Airlines using MIDT data for market analysis have increased booking share on specific markets as much as 7% or more, Sabre said, which translates directly into revenue for the airline.
