Visit Florida president and chief executive Chris Thompson is to become the next president and chief executive of Brand USA.
He takes over from Caroline Beteta, who became interim president and chief executive after Jim Evans stepped down in June.
Beteta will become chair of the Brand USA board of directors on October 1, in addition to her role as president and CEO of Visit California.
Thompson is currently working with the board of directors of Visit Florida to ensure a smooth transition from his current role to Brand USA and will be announcing an official start date soon.
