Breeze Airways raises USD200 million in new funding
New startup airline Breeze Airways has just secured in $200 million in fresh funding to help fuel its expansion to new markets. It has now gained $300 million in funding which is says is the most for a new airline startup.
The Utah-based carrier offers domestic point-to-point routes and was founded by serial airline entrepreneur David Neeleman. He also helped to establish Morris Air, JetBlue, Canada’s WestJet and Brazil’s Azul.
