British Airways launching new Cincinnati route
British Airways is adding a new non-stop route to its US network
Beginning June 5, 2023, British Airways will fly non-stop to Cincinnati.
It becomes BA’s 27th US destination and the 26th out of London Heathrow.
British Airways will be the airline offering the most non-stop flights to U.S. cities from the United Kingdom.
“We are looking forward to connecting two cities that have so much to offer. It will also enhance connectivity between the Cincinnati region, Europe and beyond,” said Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Director of Networks and Alliances.
London becomes only Cincinnati’s second transatlantic service, after Delta’s route to Paris.
The London-Cincinnati route will be operated on three-class Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with 214 seats..
Previously, Delta connected London and Cincinnati non-stop until 2009.
“The economic impact of this transatlantic flight is exponential for business travel, economic development and tourism,” said Candace McGraw, executive director of Cincinnati’s Northern Kentucky Airport.
