Brits barred from transiting France by road
Motorists travelling from the UK cannot transit through France by car to another EU country, Eurotunnel has said. It comes after a British man living in Belgium was stopped. Travelling through France to go home is ‘not a compelling reason,’ French authorities say.
Eurotunnel urgently updated its policies this week. France tightened restrictions on travel from the UK earlier this month, allowing access only for ‘compelling reasons.’
