Budget steers towards 60 UK locations
Budget Rent-a-Car plans to open five new outlets in the UK by the end of 2006.
Locations in Bristol, Bury St Edmonds and Liverpool are planned together with two in Scotland.
These are in addition to recent openings in Reading, Stirling and Perth, bringing the network up to more than 60 locations.
New outlets have also been opened in Stockholm and Gothenburg with another five others planned for Sweden.
The car rental company has added five airport locations in Italy with more planned by the end of the year.
Budget Rent-a-Car Syria has recommenced operations in addition to a return to Lebanon Airport after an absence of a number of years. Nine new outlets have also been opened in South Africa.
EMEA managing director Michael Graham said: “These new openings demonstrate our commitment to grow our network and further build the Budget brand worldwide. I am confident this growth will continue into 2007′
