Cadogan recruits to develop new distribution channels
Cadogan Holidays has further strengthened its management team by naming a marketing and sales director.
Geoff Lawrence joins from Excel Leisure Group where he was of head of sales.
Prior to this he held a number of roles at First Choice Holidays, including business head at Hayes & Jarvis and general manager of Eclipse Holidays.
The appointment follows the hiring of John Riley as commercial & product director.
Lawrence will be responsible for the Cadogan brand positioning and developing new and existing distribution channels in the light of the constant changes in the travel industry, the operator said.
He will also take on responsibility for developing the company’s online capabilities, for both travel agents and the consumer, as well as heading consumer and trade marketing, sales and reservations team and the design studio.
