Cadogan sack MD following financial probe
Cadogan Holiday has formerly fired managing director Gary David following his suspension last month.
He was suspended by parent company The Bland Group – which also owns GB Airways – for alleged financial irregularities.
TravelMole also exclusively revealed that his son Dahl, a reservations consultant, was made redundant while a job offer for David’s former marketing manager, Denise Connelly, was withdrawn.
Neither Dahl nor Connelly were said to be part of the investigation into Gary David.
Former Disney executive Tom Allen has since taken over at the specialist operator.
Cadogan chairman James Gaggero confirmed that Gary David had been dismissed from his post as managing director as of 28 February 2006, after being officially suspended from his position in January 2006.
The company said it will not be making any further statements on this matter.
