California luxury forum to showcase Newport Beach
Connections Luxury is coming to Newport Beach next month for its California Luxury Forum.
In partnership with Visit California, the eighth edition of California Luxury Forum takes place from September 15-18, 2024 at several Newport Beach hotel venues.
It forms part of Visit California’s Golden State of Luxury Initiative, to showcase the very best of California’s luxury travel offerings to international luxury travel agencies.
It says more than $69 million of travel was projected to be booked as a result of the previous event.
The objective of California Luxury Forum is to nurture strong relationships between luxury travel suppliers and buyers to attract affluent visitors to the state.
All meetings are accompanied by shared local experiences, to fast-track meaningful business relationships.
This format emphasizes experiential engagement, and allows deeper connections while exploring California.
The agenda includes a welcome reception at the Resort at Pelican Hill and two full days of one-to-one meetings and networking opportunities at various Newport Beach venues, including The Resort at Pelican Hill, Lido House, Autograph Collection, Pendry Newport Beach, and VEA Newport Beach, A Marriott Resort & Spa.
On September 18, luxury travel buyers will be hosted on a VIP Day to preview the Crown Collection by Disneyland Resort, showcasing its premium offerings, such as signature suites and poolside cabanas.
Sam Blunsdon, Head of Commercial and Tourism Promotion at Connections Luxury, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Visit California again. California Luxury Forum represents a unique opportunity for luxury travel suppliers and buyers to come together.”
“We’re excited to showcase the state’s unique style of luxury with our partners in Newport Beach and to connect with key buyers from across the globe,” added Caroline Beteta, President & CEO of Visit California.
