Cambodia mulls Angkor Wat entry for vaccinated foreign tourists
Authorities in Cambodia are considering allowing entry to its top attraction Angkor Wat for vaccinated foreign tourists.
They could be allowed into Angkor Archaeological Park by the fourth quarter, under a new proposal being looked at by Minister of Tourism Thong Khon.
It is part of discussion to gradually ease quarantine rules and would likely be dependent on the progress of Cambodia’s vaccination program. It is currently ramping up a vaccination drive for tourism workers, civil servants and other sectors. The development was welcomed by the Cambodia Association of Travel Agents.
