Canada says thanks for bushfire support

SYDNEY – The Australian office of the Canadian Tourism Commission, along with its Canadian partners who were recently in Australia for the Corroboree road show, have thanked the agents and members of the media who donated more than A$2,500 to the Victorian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

Canada Corroboree 2009 was held in five Australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.

Seventeen Canadian partners joined the NTO along with 18 Australian wholesalers to showcase new and diverse Canadian products.

More than 800 agents registered to attend all five shows
