Canadian carrier adds UK flights
Air Transat has added flights from Gatwick to Halifax in its summer 2006 schedule and has increased frequencies on other routes.
The airline has added an extra Airbus A310 aircraft this year, bringing its fleet to 15.
This will allow it to also offer a second weekly flight from Gatwick to Montreal and from Birmingham to Toronto. All other schedules remain the same.
The airline serves eight UK and five Canadian cities, with up to 27 return flights per week from London (Gatwick), Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Exeter, to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and the new Halifax Nova Scotia.
Air Transat also operates flights from Dublin and Shannon to Toronto three times a week.
Lead-in prices are from £246 return including taxes, fees and charges. It offers economy and club class cabin options on all flights between UK & Canada and pays agents 7% commission on all published fares.
